Somewhat Wordless Well Dressed Wednesday

Good Morning All,
My sincerest apologies to you all, I have been away on a rather extended weekend shopping trip to Chicago with my female siblings-what a ride that was!
I am back however and apologize for not posting a Morsel Monday tidbit for you, I promise in some fashion to make it up to you-how I have no idea! :-)
I hope all of you had a lovely weekend as I have missed each of you but could not turn down a major shopping trip with the girls, I do hope you understand.
I did however get a few photos of a mansion we visited (a surprise trip to Milwaukee from my sister Donna) whilst taking a day trip to nearby Wisconsin, it will be the post for tomorrow and I hope you enjoy it as we did.
Thank you all for the thought provoking and lovely comments on the last post of Gene Tierney, I promise to answer each of them.
So here is your photo for today's Wordless Well Dressed Wednesday even though it is hardly wordless.
Have a lovely one all, cheers!

Welcome home Kimmy, only a group of ladies could shop for a week!! I thought you had found that elusive grandson of your Robert Taylor and run off with him to start a new life in maybe the caribbean.

You have already made it up by coming back safe and sound. The lady in the photo looks so forlorn, has some cad broken her heart? My late afternoon imagination has gotten out of control!

Michigan Avenue shopping is one of the most fun things to do here. I'm so glad you got the chance to visit, it sounds like it was a wonderful weekend.

Hello Ryan,
If wishes were horses, we would all take a ride, remember that saying? I promise I would do just that but I would have to move to Maine or somewhere else on the east coast-I simply love it there! :-)
But no, I could not leave all of you, I would miss you all far too much.
And you are most correct in that only women could shop this long, we have perfected this art form! :-)
Have a lovely evening Ryan, cheers!

Greetings James,
Thank you very much kind sir, you are the consummate gentleman!
She does seem a bit tuckered out I, too wonder what the matter must have been, perhaps too many backseat kisses for one afternoon?
Now who's imagination is running rampant?
Have a lovely night James, cheers!

Bonjour Tom,
I thought of you while we were there and it took everything I had not to look you up! I was searching for a good film store for classic movies, I suppose I will have to do a little research for my next visit to your lovely city.
We did adore the Mag Mile and had a ball with local patrons and the like. My siblings had us circle the block several times whilst they piled into Garrett's for Gourmet Popcorn-the nerve! :-)
I hope your week is going well Tom, have a great Thursday, cheers!

Bonjour Kimmy!
I absolutely adore Dovima ~ an absolute beauty!
I'm delighted to read that you had a fabulous trip to Chicago. The are so many wonderful sights and restaurants in the city. We like taking our children during Christmas season. It's lovely.
xoxo, B

Hello Brenda,
Is Dovima not one of the most photogenic and loveliest individuals you have ever seen? She is a work of art in her own right.
Chicago is a lovely large city with so much to do and see-we enjoyed our trip immensely and fully plan to return before the holidays.
I sincerely hope you enjoy your trip, you are going during the most perfect time of the year!
Have a lovely Thursday Brenda, cheers!

I am thinking of a shopping trip to Chicago as well, now you have motivated me to do something about it!

Greetings David,
You would love the various upscale shops located on the Mag Mile-we certainly did!
Everything from Gucci to Chanel is located here, also Garrett's Gourmet Popcorn (which my family loves) but be prepared, we were number 22 in line and it is a small shop.
I hope you do decide to go, it is a lovely diverse city with an abundance of art, shopping and a great lakeshore.
I hope your trip is a lovely one David, cheers!
